Three ambassadors of Barcelona 2010, the former  Marathon World champions Abel Antón and Martín Fiz and the former 20km Walking World champion Valentí Massana, will take part in La Cursa de La Maquinista which will be the one that will close the 10km Challenge Divina Pastora on Sunday. The European Athletics Championships Barcelona 2010 has sponsored this initiative that has been made up of five 10km city races.

This race that is run along Sant Andreu's district will be celebrated next July 5 in its second consecutive year and it is the one that will mark the end of the 10km Challenge. The most outstanding Catalan route runners with Roger Roca and Txell Calduch as leaders will participate.
