Warm-up
The Parc del Migdia Stadium, located at the entrance to the Olympic Stadium in Montjuic, will be the competitors’ warm up area, although not the only one. On this track, all the athletes will be able to warm up, with the exception of the throwers, who will have an exclusive area in the Joan Serrahima Stadium, situated from the above mentioned stadium. The Parc del Migdia has already been used for this same purpose in the Olympic Games in 1992.
The Joan Serrahima, one of the most historic stadiums in Spanish sport, the venue for many years of the Ciutat de Barcelona Meeting in the period prior to the restoration of the Olympic Stadium in Montjuic, will again provide its services for a great international competition, as it has done satisfactorily throughout its existence.
