Visa requirements and passports
1. Facts about entry visas
Citizens from the following European countries require a Visa to enter Spain:
Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia - Herzegovina, Georgia, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.
The visas are issued by the following embassies / consulates:
Albania (Tirana) French Embassy
Armenia (Yerevan) Italian Embassy
Azerbaijan (Baku) French Embassy
Belarus (Minsk) French Embassy
Bosnia-Herzegovina (Sarajevo) Spanish Embassy
Georgia (Tiflis) German Embassy
F.Y.R. Macedonia (Skopje) French Embassy
Moldova (Bucharest) Spanish Embassy
Montenegro (Belgrade) Spanish Embassy
Russia (Moscow) Spanish Embassy
Serbia (Belgrade) Spanish Embassy
Turkey (Ankara) Spanish Embassy
Ukraine (Kiev) Spanish Embassy
Participants who require a visa should contact the LOC as soon as possible to obtain a special invitation letter and visa application information. Please send an e-mail to info@bcn2010.org or a fax to + 34 934 234 594 with the following information.
· Full name (first name and family name (as shown in passport)
· Date of birth
· Number of the passport
· Home address
The invitation will be sent to you as soon as possible.
Participants must also have a passport, valid for at least six months from de date of applying and an individual travel insurance that covers expenses up to € 30.000 and be valid in all Schengen countries. You need to show your travel insurance policy only when you collect your visa.
2. Passports
Citizens of most EU countries can travel to Spain with their ID Card. However, it is strongly recommended to have a passport with you.
