The new promotional video of Barcelona 2010 has been launched to the public in the institutional support event that has taken place on June 25, 2009 in the Palacete Albéniz. As the rest of productions of the Marketing department, it is available for all of the fans just by clicking here or in the Video section that can be found in the area called Fan- zone.

This new video insists on the idea encouraged by Barcelona 2010 of bringing athletics closer to the citizenship environment. There are  high profile athletics scenes mixed with local life situations and, while music goes up "increcendo" it begins to appear numbers that indicate current records, names of athletes who are the current figures of the international panorama, the names of the cities that have been the venues previous to Barcelona in the history of the European Athletics Championships, a list of competitions and the special ties that make up the Olympic competition  programme and much other information immersed in a modern and full of life graphism.

The video lasts for less than three minutes and it has an original sound track that insists in a very marked way on the name of the Barcelona city. Its author is the Catalan musical band Fufü-ai.
