Rosa Morató is torn between the 3000m steeplechase and 5000m for Barcelona 2010

The recent European cross country runner-up Rosa Morató has not yet decided in which discipline she will participate at the European Athletics Championships Barcelona 2010 and will wait until the outdoor season to decide whether she prefers to compete at 3000m steeplechase or the 5000m race. The 30 year old athlete from Barcelona has regained the Spanish cross country title on Sunday, her fourth consecutive win at the championships.

“I want to try out both disciplines to find out what feels better. It has nothing to do with my rivals really, but with how I compete in each discipline”, told Morató Barcelona 2010.

Morató’s next goal is the World cross country champs in Bydogosczon 28 March. Due to her brilliant career and latest results over this discipline, she will travel to Poland as biggest hope for the Spanish team.
